Calco means cast, and the frame is exactly that. It hangs in four directions, so the two gold forms can sit left and right, top and bottom, or on a diagonal. It is not rated for bathroom use. At 11.5kg it is a one person lift, but it stands 7cm off the wall, and that depth is the frame rather than the glass, so allow for it beside a door. Clean the glass with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth and keep it off the leaf entirely, dusting the gold dry instead, because applied leaf is thin and solvent marks it. Because the leaf is laid over a moulded form rather than a flat one, the gold changes as you move past it: bright on the outer curve, dark in the hollow.
