buenavista-1-led-bathroom-mirror-silver
Buenavista 1 LED Bathroom Mirror - Silver

Description

The Buenavista 1 is a rectangular LED bathroom mirror with softly rounded corners, built on an aluminium body in a silver finish. It measures 80cm wide and 60cm high and stands just 3cm proud of the wall, so it reads as a slim panel rather than a bulky cabinet. A frosted border around the glass carries the integrated LED, which draws 18.6W and gives 2,030 lumens, plenty to light a face evenly. It is rated IP44, meaning it is protected from splashing water and is made for a bathroom wall.

We would hang it above a basin, whether that is a single bowl on a vanity unit or a double basin with room for two. As with any bathroom light, a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. Because the light comes from all four sides of the glass rather than from overhead, it softens the hard shadows a ceiling light casts under the eyes, which makes shaving and make-up far easier. The wide landscape shape suits a long wall and gives two people space at the glass on a busy morning. It works just as well in an en suite, where one fitting does the work of a mirror and a wall light.

A touch switch sits on the glass near the bottom edge, and you choose between three colour temperatures at the mirror itself: a warm 3000K for a relaxed evening, a neutral 4000K for everyday use and a crisp 6500K daylight tone for close work. The light is not dimmable, so the colour you pick is how you set the mood. Aluminium does not rust, which counts in a room that fills with steam. Packed, the mirror weighs 6.9KG, so a second pair of hands makes light work of hanging it. The installation instructions come as a download, and they are worth reading before the electrician arrives.

Specification

Width

80cm

Height

60cm

Projection

3cm

Body Material

Aluminium

Body Colour

Silver

Shade Material

Mirror

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

18.6W

Lumens

2,030lm

Colour Temperature

3000K, 4000K, 6500K

Dimmable

No

Features

Three colour temperatures, chosen at the light

Switch

Touch switch

IP Rating

IP44

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

F

Weight (packed)

6.9KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Buenavista 1 mirror go in a bathroom?

Yes.
