The green is strong and even and darkens whatever is behind it, and the glass picks up long highlights down its sides. The ball is drawn in at the top where it meets the cap and left open at the bottom. A plain black flex runs up from the cap. It is small enough to hang in a run of two or three over a worktop. It measures 14cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA shade this small works better in a run of two or three over an island than alone in the middle of a ceiling, where it reads as an accent rather than the main light. Hang it so the bottom of the shade sits about 80cm above the surface, a little higher if people walk beneath it rather than sit under it.
