brera-arco-glass-wall-light-brushed-warm-steel
Brera Arco Glass Wall Light - Brushed Warm Steel

Description

This is a modern wall light from our Brera range, made of iron and blown glass in a brushed warm steel finish. A long, rounded backplate in a pale beige tone stands upright against the wall, crossed low down by a curved panel in the brushed warm steel finish, and a single round blown-glass shade sits proud of it to one side in a ringed collar. It takes one GX53 lamp and runs on 220-240V mains. We sell it in three sizes, Mezzo, Quarto and Trequarti, so you can choose the scale that best suits your wall and the space around it.

Rated IP20, it is for dry rooms only, which makes it a natural fit for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms. A pair either side of a bed or a hallway mirror gives balanced light at eye level, and a single one brightens a narrow corridor wall without taking up any floor space. It is an on-off switched fitting, so it works from an ordinary wall switch rather than a dimmer. Its clean, modern lines sit easily in a contemporary home, and the warm tone of the brushed finish stops it feeling cold beside timber, linen or painted plaster.

The pairing of iron and blown glass gives each part its own job: the metal frames the composition and the glass carries the light. The brushed warm steel finish has a fine directional grain, with a softer, warmer cast than plain silver. It is a mains fitting for a qualified electrician to install, and it carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, group several along a long wall at matching heights, or mix the three sizes for a staggered arrangement above a sideboard or beside a stairway, letting the round glass shades form a loose rhythm across the plaster.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Warm Steel

Materials

Iron and blown-glass

Height

41cm (Quarto), 41cm (Mezzo), 41cm (Trequarti)

Shade Diameter

10cm (Quarto), 10cm (Mezzo), 10cm (Trequarti)

Lamp Cap

GX53

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Codes

11574, 11581, 11598

Frequently Asked

What lamp does this wall light take?

It has one GX53 lamp holder, so it takes a single GX53 lamp, running on a 220-240V mains supply.

Can this wall light be dimmed?

It is an on-off switched fitting, so it works from an ordinary wall switch rather than a dimmer.

Is it suitable for damp or splashed areas?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms.

What sizes does it come in?

We sell it in three sizes, Mezzo, Quarto and Trequarti, so you can match the scale of the fitting to your wall.

What is the wall light made of?

It is made of iron and blown glass, finished in brushed warm steel, with a single round blown-glass shade.

Does it need an electrician to fit it?

Yes.
