brera-arco-glass-wall-light-brushed-pale-gold
Brera Arco Glass Wall Light - Brushed Pale Gold

Description

This wall light from our Brera range pairs a tall cream backplate, rounded at both ends, with a sweep of brushed pale gold that arcs around a circular blown-glass shade. It is made of iron and blown glass, and the glass sits in a narrow rim at the centre of the arc, so the light comes from one neat, round point. It takes one GX53 lamp, and it comes in three sizes: Mezzo, Quarto and Trequarti. The brushed pale gold is a warm metallic finish with a fine grain rather than a mirror shine, and it sits easily against the cream.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is at home in a hallway, on a landing, in a bedroom or along a living room wall. The cream and pale gold suit a modern scheme without shouting, and they work as well with warm white walls as with deeper paint colours. Fit a pair either side of a bed or a fireplace for a balanced look, or a row down a corridor for a steady rhythm of light. Because it is a switched fitting, simply on or off, it suits rooms where you want a fixed glow on the wall rather than a dimmed one.

It is built from iron and blown glass and finished in brushed pale gold, and it carries a 3 year guarantee. It runs on 220-240V mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. To style it, let the cream backplate pick up linen, oak or plaster tones in the room, and keep nearby metals warm, in brass or gold, so the arc reads clearly against the wall.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Pale Gold

Materials

Iron and blown-glass

Height

41cm (Quarto), 41cm (Mezzo), 41cm (Trequarti)

Shade Diameter

10cm (Quarto), 10cm (Mezzo), 10cm (Trequarti)

Lamp Cap

GX53

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Codes

11543, 11550, 11567

Frequently Asked

What lamp does the Brera wall light take?

It takes one GX53 lamp in a single lamp holder, and the light comes through the round blown-glass shade.

Is it dimmable?

It is listed as an on-off switched fitting, so it is made to work from a standard light switch rather than a dimmer.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
