breeze-fabric-drum-floor-lamp-gold-and-natural-fibre
Breeze Fabric Drum Tripod Floor Lamp - Gold & Natural Fibre

Description

Our Breeze floor lamp stands on three slim wooden legs, set out as a tripod and braced with brass in a gold finish, with a drum shade in natural fibre on top. It is 143cm tall overall, and the shade is 24cm tall and 45cm across, a generous drum that sits well above the legs. The woven fibre of the shade softens and spreads the light from a single E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap, which takes a wide choice of bulbs. Wood, brass and fibre together give it a warm, natural look that suits Scandinavian and modern rooms alike.

It belongs in the living room beside a sofa or an armchair, where the tall tripod lifts the shade to a good height for reading or for lighting a quiet corner in the evening. It works just as well in a bedroom, a study or a hallway with a bare corner to fill, and the open legs keep it looking light even in a smaller space. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The 2m cable gives you some freedom in where it stands, and it is switched on and off rather than dimmed, so there is no dimmer to match.

The structure is wood and brass, the shade is fabric and the cable is plastic. The brass stem and cross braces carry a gold finish against the pale grain of the legs, and the natural fibre shade has a visible weave that reads as texture even when the lamp is off. It runs on 220-240V and carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, we like it beside a linen sofa or a low oak sideboard, with a woven rug and a plant or two picking up the fibre of the shade.

Specification

Finish

Gold & Natural Fibre

Materials

Wood and brass structure, fabric shade and plastic cable

Height

143cm

Shade Height

24cm

Shade Diameter

45cm

Lamp Cap

E27

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

2m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11956

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Breeze floor lamp take?

It has one E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap, so it takes a wide choice of E27 bulbs.

How tall is it and how big is the shade?

The lamp is 143cm tall overall, and its drum shade is 24cm tall and 45cm across, in natural fibre.

Can it be dimmed?

No. It is an on-off switched lamp, so it is not dimmed and there is no dimmer to match.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a living room, bedroom or study.

What is it made from?

The structure is wood and brass, with a gold finish on the brass, a fabric shade in natural fibre and a plastic cable.

How long is the cable?

It has a 2m cable, which gives you some freedom in where the lamp stands in the room.
