bravino-table-lamp-17cm-nickel
Bravino Table Lamp 17cm - Nickel

Description

The Bravino is a compact table lamp with a rounded glass shade resting on a slim cylindrical base, a little like a mushroom in profile. It stands 17cm tall and measures 15.5cm in diameter, and its base is 9cm wide, so it needs very little room on a bedside table or a shelf. The body is steel in a brushed nickel finish, and the shade is vaporised glass in a black-transparent tone: a smoky, see-through grey that tones down the glow. It is rated IP20, which settles where it lives: indoors, in dry rooms, well away from bathrooms and anywhere water could reach it.

Its small footprint makes it a natural choice for the bedroom, where a narrow bedside table has to share its space with books, glasses and a phone. It sits just as happily on a living room side table, a hallway console or a study shelf, anywhere you want a gentle, close light rather than a bright overhead one. Even while unlit, the smoked glass reads as a dark, glossy dome against the brushed metal, so the lamp still looks considered during the day. For a guest room, a small flat or a quiet corner, it brings a softer evening mood without the bulk of a large fabric shade.

Brightness is set with a touch dimmer, so changing the level takes a light touch rather than a search for a switch, which is handy when you reach across in the dark. Steel is strong and holds its shape, and here it carries a brushed nickel finish that sits comfortably beside warm woods, pale linen and darker painted walls alike. The lamp runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply, and its packed weight is 0.8KG. The installation instructions come as a download, so it is worth saving a copy for whenever you need them.

Specification

Height

17cm

Diameter

15.5cm

Base Diameter

9cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Nickel

Shade Material

Glass vaporized

Shade Colour

Black-transparent

Switch

Touch dimmer

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

0.8KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Bravino table lamp go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in dry rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms and studies, well away from bathrooms and anywhere water could reach it.

How is the brightness adjusted?

It has a touch dimmer, so you change the brightness with a touch rather than a conventional switch, which makes it easy to use at the bedside.

How big is the lamp?

It stands 17cm tall and measures 15.5cm in diameter, and its base is 9cm wide, so it suits a narrow bedside table or a shelf.

What material is the shade?

The shade is vaporised glass in a black-transparent tone, a smoky see-through grey that softens the look of the lamp and sits over the nickel base.

Is the base metal?

Yes.
