bow-wall-300-3-fixing-box-lighting-accessory-305cm-wood-effect
Bow Wall 300 3 Fixing Box Lighting Accessory 305cm - Wood Effect

Description

Bow is a slim wall lighting accessory with a Wood Effect finish, made in a 305cm length with a section of just 3.5cm. It is part of our Bow range: a narrow profile that travels across a wall and draws a single, unbroken stroke. It can run perfectly straight or sweep in a long, gentle curve, rising and falling between the square fixing boxes that hold it to the wall. The boxes share the same Wood Effect finish, so the whole run reads as one piece. The finish brings the warm colour and fine grain of natural wood to what is otherwise a very architectural shape, which keeps it friendly in a home.

Because it is rated IP20, it belongs in dry rooms indoors, and that still leaves plenty of scope. A curve looks natural climbing a stairwell or following the line of a hallway, while a straight run brings quiet order to a living room wall, above a headboard or along a dining room wall. Its 3.5cm section keeps it slim enough to sit beside artwork or shelving without crowding them. It suits architects, interior designers and anyone planning lighting for a new build or renovation. It also suits hotel corridors, restaurants and galleries, where a line on the wall can guide people through a space. Its 305cm length covers a good stretch of wall in one piece.

It runs at 24V DC and carries a Class III protection rating, which means it works at low voltage rather than straight from the mains. As part of a lighting system, it is for a qualified electrician to install. The Wood Effect finish gives the colour and grain of wood without being solid timber. Before you order, measure the wall and plan where each fixing box will sit, because a 305cm run, straight or curved, needs clear wall along its whole length.

Specification

Finish

Wood Effect

Length

305cm

Section

3.5cm

Voltage

24V DC

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class III

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Bow profile have to run in a straight line?

No. It can run straight or follow a long, gentle curve between its square fixing boxes, so you can draw either a crisp line or a sweeping one across the wall.

How long and how wide is it?

It is 305cm long with a section of 3.5cm, so it covers a long stretch of wall in one piece while staying slim and unobtrusive.

Can it go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and dining rooms.

What voltage does it run at?

It runs at 24V DC and is Class III, so it works at low voltage.
