bonvenne-outdoor-wall-light-stainless-steel
Bonvenne Outdoor Wall Light - Stainless Steel

Description

The Bonvenne is a compact outdoor wall light with a gently curved front of stainless steel wrapped around a white satin glass panel. Two slim slotted bands run across the top and bottom, where a fine line of light shows, and the whole fitting is 14cm in length, 16.5cm high and 10.5cm deep from the wall. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, which you buy separately as the bulb is not included. Its IP44 rating means it is protected from splashing water, so it can stay outdoors on a house wall, rain or shine.

We like it beside a front or back door, where its soft glow helps you find the keyhole and greet visitors, and along a garden wall or patio where you want a gentle wash of light rather than glare. At 10.5cm deep it sits close to the wall, so it suits narrow paths and passageways where a deeper lantern would catch a shoulder. The plain curved shape and silver stainless steel sit comfortably on rendered walls and painted brick, on modern and traditional homes alike, and a pair either side of a door, or several in a row along a long wall, gives a tidy, even rhythm.

The body is stainless steel, a material that resists rust, and the shade is white satin glass, which softens the light of the bulb into an even glow. There is no switch on the light itself, as it is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off with a wall switch. It runs on 220-240V mains and weighs 1.02KG. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download to share before fitting day. Pick an E27 bulb of no more than 40W and it is ready to light from the first evening.

Specification

Length

14cm

Height

16.5cm

Projection

10.5cm

Body Material

Stainless steel

Body Colour

Stainless steel

Shade Material

Satin glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP44

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight

1.02KG

Weight (packed)

1.117KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Bonvenne wall light go outdoors?

Yes.
