The brass sleeve is long and plain and carries a black flex above it, so the drop reads as a fine gold line above the white. The glass is warm white and evenly diffusing, thick enough to hide the lamp completely, and its bottom is left open. There is no rim, no seam and no fixing visible on the glass. The form is full and rounded and hangs well below the brass.
