blur-ribbed-glass-wall-light-gold
Blur Ribbed Glass Wall Light - Gold

Description

The Blur is a compact modern wall light: a cylinder of clear ribbed glass held on a small round backplate in a gold finish. The glass is ribbed all the way round, its fine vertical flutes catching the light so the shade reads as a column of lines on the wall, whether lit or unlit. It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED for it. It stands 10cm tall and projects 11.5cm from the wall, with a 10cm glass shade, so it sits close and tidy rather than reaching out into a room or passageway.

Because it is so small, it works where a larger wall light would crowd the space: either side of a bed, beside a mirror in a hallway, along a landing or above a reading chair. Fitted as a pair, it frames a headboard or a fireplace neatly, and a run of them down a corridor gives a steady rhythm of gold and glass. It suits a modern scheme, and the gold finish warms plain painted walls, dark panelling and patterned wallpaper alike. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.

The metalwork is iron with a gold finish, and the shade is glass, ribbed from top to bottom. It is a mains fitting running at 220 to 240V, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. Because the glass is clear, the lamp inside plays a part in the look, so choose a G9 LED in a warm white to sit happily with the gold. For a balanced wall, fit a pair at the same height either side of a bed or mirror, and let the ribbed glass do the decorating.

Specification

Finish

Gold

Materials

Iron and glass

Height

10cm

Projection

11.5cm

Shade Diameter

10cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11512

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Blur wall light take?

It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED.
