bissi-dome-pendant-light-matt-white
Bissi Dome Pendant Light - Matt White

Description

The Bissi is a dome pendant light in matt white: a single, smooth aluminium dome that hangs from the ceiling on a 1.5m textile cable. The dome is deep and rounded, opening out to a softly rolled rim, and it directs the light of one E27 lamp down towards whatever sits beneath it. The lamp is not included, so the bulb is your choice: a warm white E27 lamp for a living room or bedroom, a brighter one over a desk. The matt white finish keeps the surface even and gentle, with no shine to catch the eye, and the plain shape lets the light do the work.

We see it hung singly over a dining table, a sideboard or beside a bed, where it gives a focused light exactly where you want it; two or three in a row work well over a long table. It suits a hallway or landing too, and a home office or reading corner where a practical, uncluttered shape sits well. The look is modern with an industrial edge, so it is as much at home in a converted warehouse flat as in a pale, pared back Scandinavian room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is aluminium, finished in matt white, and it hangs on a textile cable, a detail that looks more considered than plain plastic flex. It runs on 220 to 240V and is a switched fitting, simply on and off, rather than a dimmable one. As a mains fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and it carries a 2 year guarantee. For styling, the white dome is a quiet choice: pair it with pale oak and linen for a calm room, or hang it against a dark painted wall so the clean white curve stands out.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Aluminium structure and textile cable

Height

21cm

Diameter

21cm

Canopy Diameter

8cm

Lamp Cap

E27

Number of Lamps

1

Lamps Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Control

On-off (switched)

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

1.5m

Guarantee

2 years

Product Code

05047

Frequently Asked

Is a bulb included with the Bissi dome pendant?

No, the lamp is not included.
