bisel-cylinder-glass-wall-light-metallic-blue
Bisel Cylinder Ribbed Glass Wall Light - Metallic Blue

Description

The Bisel Cylinder Glass Wall Light sets a clear, fluted glass cylinder into a shaped iron sleeve finished in metallic blue. The sleeve wraps the lower part of the tube and is cut away in a soft curve, so the ribbed glass rises clear of the colour. It fixes to the wall on a round plate and takes one G9 lamp, with a G9 LED the recommended choice. The whole fitting is 21cm tall and stands just 9.5cm out from the wall, with a 6.4cm glass shade, so it sits neatly where a deeper wall light would crowd the space.

Its slim profile makes it a good choice for a hallway, landing or corridor, where a pair or a run of them sets an even rhythm of light along the wall. It works just as well as a bedside wall light, leaving the bedside table free, or either side of a fireplace or sofa in a modern living room. The metallic blue brings a confident note of colour to a plain white or pale grey wall and sits happily against deep painted walls too. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and studies.

The body is iron, finished in metallic blue, and the shade is a fluted glass tube. This simple pairing of two materials keeps the design clean and modern. It carries a 3 year guarantee, and as a 220-240V mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, fix two at the same height either side of a bed or doorway so the blue reads as a deliberate accent. Keep the surrounding decor quiet so the fluted glass and the curved cut of the sleeve set the tone.

Specification

Finish

Metallic Blue

Materials

Iron and glass

Height

21cm

Projection

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

6.4cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11178

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What lamp does it take?

It takes one G9 lamp in a single G9 lamp holder, and the recommended lamp is a G9 LED.

How big is it?

It is 21cm tall and projects 9.5cm from the wall, with a glass shade 6.4cm across, so it suits narrow spaces such as corridors.

What is it made of?

The body is iron in a metallic blue finish, and the shade is a clear fluted glass cylinder that sits in the cut sleeve.

Can I use it in a damp or wet room?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, living room, hallway or study.

Who should install it?

It is a 220-240V mains fitting, so it is for a qualified electrician to install.

Does it come with a guarantee?

Yes, it carries a 3 year guarantee, so you can fit it with confidence and enjoy it for years to come.
