bisel-cylinder-glass-wall-light-matt-white
Bisel Cylinder Ribbed Glass Wall Light - Matt White

Description

The Bisel wall light is a slim cylinder of ribbed clear glass, held in a curved iron sleeve finished in matt white and set on a round backplate. The sleeve wraps most of the way around the glass and opens along one side in a sweeping curve, so the fluted glass shows through and catches the light from within. It takes one G9 lamp, and a G9 LED lamp is the recommended choice for it. The fitting is 21cm tall and stands 9.5cm out from the wall, with a 6.4cm glass shade, so it sits neatly where space is tight.

Its compact size makes it a natural choice for a bedside wall, a hallway or a landing, where a deep fitting would get in the way. A pair either side of a bed, a mirror in a dressing area or a fireplace in the living room looks balanced and calm, and a row of them along a corridor gives a steady rhythm of light. The look is modern and clean, and the matt white finish settles quietly against pale walls. It suits a study or a reading corner too, lighting the wall beside a favourite chair. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The body is iron with a matt white finish, and the shade is glass, ribbed along its length, which gives it texture and sparkle. It runs on 220 to 240V, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, we like it against warm white or soft grey walls, where the white sleeve almost disappears and the glass becomes the focus; a pair at the same height gives a tidy, finished look.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Iron and glass

Height

21cm

Projection

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

6.4cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11130

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Bisel wall light take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and a G9 LED lamp is the recommended choice for this compact fitting.

How big is the Bisel wall light?

It is 21cm tall and stands 9.5cm out from the wall, and its cylindrical glass shade is 6.4cm across, so it fits narrow spaces well.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, hallway, landing or living room.

What is the wall light made of?

The body is iron in a matt white finish and the shade is ribbed clear glass, set on a round backplate.

Do I need an electrician to fit it?

Yes.
