bisel-cylinder-glass-wall-light-gold
Bisel Cylinder Ribbed Glass Wall Light - Gold

Description

Our Bisel wall light is a slim, modern fitting in iron and glass, finished in gold. A fluted glass cylinder stands upright, half wrapped in a curved gold sleeve that is held off a round wall backplate, so one side of the glass stays open to view while the other is screened by metal. The fitting is 21cm tall and projects 9.5cm from the wall, and its glass shade is 6.4cm across, so it reads as a neat vertical line rather than a bulky bracket. It takes one G9 lamp, and the recommended lamp is a G9 LED, so that is the lamp we suggest for it.

Being slim and shallow, it suits spots where space is tight. Either side of a bed it gives a soft glow through the fluted glass without taking room on the bedside table, and it works just as well along a hallway or landing, beside a dressing table or in a reading corner of a living room. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only, so keep it to bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and studies. It is a good choice for anyone furnishing a calm, modern home who wants a touch of warm metal on the wall without a large fitting.

The body is iron and the shade is glass, with the gold finish carried across the sleeve and the backplate alike. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, a pair set either side of a bed looks balanced against pale walls and light timber, and the gold sits happily alongside brass handles, picture frames or a gold-rimmed mirror nearby.

Specification

Finish

Gold

Materials

Iron and glass

Height

21cm

Projection

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

6.4cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11154

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Bisel wall light take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and the recommended lamp is a G9 LED, which sits neatly inside the slim glass cylinder.

How big is the Bisel gold wall light?

It stands 21cm tall and projects 9.5cm from the wall, and its fluted glass shade is 6.4cm across.

Can I use this wall light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.

What is the Bisel wall light made of?

The body is iron with a gold finish, and the cylinder shade is fluted glass, half wrapped by a curved gold sleeve.

Can I fit this wall light myself?

It runs on 220-240V mains, so as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.
