bisel-cylinder-glass-wall-light-copper
Bisel Cylinder Ribbed Glass Wall Light - Copper

Description

Our Bisel wall light is a slim cylinder of fluted clear glass held in a curved iron sleeve finished in copper. The sleeve wraps around the lower part of the tube and is cut away at the front in two gentle curves, so the glass rises clear above it and a narrow line of it shows through the front. The sleeve sits on a round wall plate in the same copper finish. It is a single light with one G9 lamp holder, and we recommend a G9 LED lamp. It is 21cm tall and stands 9.5cm out from the wall, with a glass shade 6.4cm across, a compact size that keeps it neat on a narrow stretch of wall.

With its upright cylindrical form and modern lines, it suits hallways, landings and corridors, where a pair or a run of them lights the way at a steady rhythm. It works just as well beside a bed, one either side of a headboard, or flanking a fireplace or a doorway in a living room or study. It runs on 220-240V and is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The metalwork is iron and the shade is glass. The copper finish gives the metal a warm, soft sheen that sits well against the clear flutes, and the curved cut of the sleeve gives the piece a quietly sculptural line on the wall. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, the copper reads warmest against deep green, plaster pink or soft white walls, and it pairs well with wood, linen and other warm metals in the same room; a pair at matching heights either side of a hallway mirror gives a balanced welcome.

Specification

Finish

Copper

Materials

Iron and glass

Height

21cm

Projection

9.5cm

Shade Diameter

6.4cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11161

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Bisel wall light take?

It has one G9 lamp holder, and we recommend a G9 LED lamp for this fitting.

How big is it?

It is 21cm tall and stands 9.5cm out from the wall, and its fluted glass shade is 6.4cm across.

What is it made of?

The metalwork is iron in a copper finish, and the cylindrical shade is fluted clear glass held in a curved sleeve.

Can it be used in damp rooms or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms.

Does it need an electrician to fit?

Yes.
