bisel-cylinder-glass-table-lamp-matt-white
Bisel Cylinder Ribbed Glass Table Lamp - Matt White

Description

The Bisel table lamp is a slim cylinder of ribbed clear glass held in a matt white iron sleeve. It stands 21cm tall and 6.4cm across, small enough to sit on the narrowest bedside table or shelf. The sleeve is cut away at the front in a tapering, petal-like curve, so the fluted glass rises clear above it and a fine line of light runs down towards the base once the lamp is lit. Inside is a single G9 lamp holder, and the maker recommends a G9 LED lamp.

Its slim footprint makes it a natural choice where a larger lamp would crowd the surface: a bedside table, a writing desk, a hallway console, a bookshelf or a reception counter. We see it as an accent light, marking a corner of a living room or giving a bedroom a gentle point of light in the evening. The 2m cable gives you room to place it a little way from the socket. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only, and it runs on 220-240V. Its plain, modern lines suit a contemporary home, and the white finish sits easily against pale wood, painted walls and neutral fabrics.

The base is iron in a matt white finish, the shade is a ribbed glass tube, and the lamp is wired with a black textile cable, which looks neater than plastic flex when it trails across a desk or down the side of a table. The ribs in the glass catch the light from the lamp inside, giving the tube a fine, lined glow. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, we like it in pairs either side of a bed or a sideboard, or grouped with books and a small plant on a shelf, where its height keeps it below eye level and its white sleeve picks up pale tones in the room.

Specification

Finish

Matt White

Materials

Iron, glass, and textile cable

Height

21cm

Diameter

6.4cm

Lamp Cap

G9

Number of Lamps

1

Recommended Lamp

G9 LED

Lamps Included

No

Maximum Wattage

10W per lamp

IP Rating

IP20

Voltage

220-240V

Cable Length

2m

Guarantee

3 years

Product Code

11772

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What bulb does the Bisel table lamp take?

It has a single G9 lamp holder, and the maker recommends a G9 LED lamp for it.

How big is the Bisel table lamp?

It stands 21cm tall and 6.4cm across, so it fits on a narrow bedside table, desk or shelf without taking over the surface.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, living room, hallway or study.

What is the lamp made of?

The base is iron in a matt white finish, the shade is a ribbed clear glass tube, and the cable is textile.

How long is the cable?

The textile cable is 2m long, which gives you some freedom to place the lamp a little way from the socket.

Does it come with a guarantee?

Yes.
