birds-resin-table-lamp-with-scalloped-shade-70cm-brown
Birds Resin Table Lamp with Scalloped Shade 70cm - Brown

Description

This resin table lamp rises from a gnarled tree trunk, with little birds perched among its branches and a gently scalloped shade on top. The base is shaped as a twisting trunk that splits into root-like feet, with branches reaching out in leaves and buds and two birds settled on them as if they had just landed. A third little bird perches on top of the shade, a sweet finishing touch. The base is a warm brown, and the cream shade has a soft, wavy hem that echoes the curves of the branches. It stands 70cm tall and 33cm across, so it has real presence without crowding a surface.

At 70cm tall it suits a sideboard, a console table in the hall or a generous bedside table, where the base gives you something lovely to look at even with the light off. The woodland theme sits happily in a country-style living room, a calm bedroom or a cosy reading corner, and the brown and cream pairing works well alongside natural wood, rattan and soft sage greens. It is a lamp for dry rooms indoors, so keep it to living spaces, bedrooms, hallways and studies.

The base is made from resin, which holds all the fine detail of the bark, leaves and feathers, and the shade sits neatly above the trunk on a slim stem. To keep it looking its best, switch it off and let it cool before cleaning, then dust the base with a soft dry cloth, using a small soft brush to reach between the branches, and freshen the shade with a soft brush. Stand it on a level surface with a little space around the shade. For an easy styling note, set it beside a vase of dried grasses or a stack of favourite books on a wooden sideboard, and let the birds do the rest.

Specification

Material

Resin

Colour

Brown

Height

70cm

Width

33cm

Depth

33cm

Weight

2.3kg

Frequently Asked

How tall is this table lamp?

It stands 70cm tall and measures 33cm across, a comfortable size for a sideboard, console table or generous bedside table.

What is the base made of?

The base is made from resin in a warm brown, shaped as a tree trunk with branches, leaves and two perched birds in fine detail.

What colour is the shade?

The scalloped shade is a soft cream with a gently wavy hem, which pairs nicely with the warm brown of the tree base.

Can I use this lamp in a bathroom?

No, this lamp is for dry rooms indoors, so it is best kept to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and studies.

How do I clean the lamp?

Switch it off and let it cool, then dust the base with a soft dry cloth and use a soft brush between the branches and on the shade.
