benecia-outdoor-light-82mm-cut-out-10cm-long-stainless-steel
Benecia IP67 Outdoor Light 10cm Long - Stainless Steel

Description

The Benecia square gives you a compact 10cm face in stainless steel with a clear glass lens, and a body that sits low and neat at ground level. It works with a GU10 lamp of up to 10W, so the light you get is entirely down to the lamp you choose: a tight reflector beam for grazing a surface, or something wider for a softer pool. The square face reads as quiet and geometric rather than decorative, which is usually what you want from a light that is looked down on rather than at.

It suits paths, driveways, terraces and garden walkways, and it earns its keep uplighting a wall, a rendered pier, a hedge or the trunk of a tree once the light drops. The housing is sealed against dust and water, so wet weather and puddling are no trouble. We would put an LED reflector lamp in it, and if you want the level adjustable, choose a dimmable lamp and pair it with a suitable dimmer. It is a good choice for anyone who wants exterior light without a visible post or bracket breaking up a planted border.

Construction is 316L stainless steel, the marine grade, chosen because it copes with rain, frost and salt air better than ordinary steel. The finish is left bright and unpainted, and the glass sits clear above the lamp. To keep the output honest, brush away grit and fallen leaves from around the face now and then and wipe the glass with clean water; nothing abrasive, as scratched glass scatters light. It carries a two year warranty. We stock the same fitting with a round face if a circle sits better with your paving pattern, and the two mix happily along a single run. Lamps are not included.

Specification

Colour

Stainless Steel

Ceiling Mountable

Yes

Weight

0.43KG

Length

100mm

Width

100mm

Height

91mm

Cut Out

68/82mm

Materials Used

Stainless Steel

Energy Class

A++ to D

Max Energy Class

A++

Min Energy Class

D

Lamp

1 x GU10 10W max (lamps not included)

Lamp Cap

GU10

Recommended Lamp

LED (50mm Reflector)

Light Distribution

Up

Protection Class

Class 1 - Earth Connection Required

Total Power Consumption

Dependent On Lamps Used (±5%)

Input Voltage

220-240V~50/60Hz

Dimmable

Yes - Dimmable Lamps Required

IP Rating

IP67

Warranty

2yrs

UKCA/CE

Yes

Shade Colour

Clear

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Included

Yes

Pieces Included

1

Installation

Requires Installation By Qualified Electrician

Product Care

(1) Wipe clean with a dry cloth, do not use any cleaning detergents, do not use rough or coarse material to clean.
