benecia-outdoor-light-82mm-cut-out-10cm-dia-stainless-steel
Benecia IP67 Outdoor Light 10cm Dia - Stainless Steel

Description

A round, low profile fitting that puts light at ground level, 10cm across, with a clear cover set into a stainless steel body. It takes a GU10 reflector LED, up to 10W, and will dim where the lamp itself is dimmable. The light rises out of the ground rather than falling from above, which makes it useful wherever a pole or a bracket would look wrong.

We would use it along a driveway, in a path, or set into a gravel bed to graze a wall or send light up through the branches of a small tree. It is sealed against dust and against water at a level that copes with immersion, so rain, puddles and a hose over the top are all within its remit. That makes it a sensible choice for gardens that sit wet in winter, and for courtyards and terraces where anything standing proud would be in the way of a table or a car. It is one we reach for when the planting should be lit and the source kept out of sight.

The body is marine grade stainless steel, the grade specified where salt air and constant damp would pit lesser metal, and there is no paint to chip or flake. Keeping it right means sweeping grit and leaf litter clear of the rim so nothing blocks the beam, then wiping the cover with a damp cloth once the light starts to look tired. It carries a two year warranty. We stock the same fitting in a square version for anyone working to a paved grid, and there is no reason not to run both across one garden. Lamps are sold separately.

Specification

Colour

Stainless Steel

Ceiling Mountable

Yes

Weight

0.36KG

Diameter

100mm

Height

91mm

Cut Out

68/82mm

Materials Used

Stainless Steel

Energy Class

A++ to D

Max Energy Class

A++

Min Energy Class

D

Lamp

1 x GU10 10W max (lamps not included)

Lamp Cap

GU10

Recommended Lamp

LED (50mm Reflector)

Light Distribution

Up

Protection Class

Class 1 - Earth Connection Required

Total Power Consumption

Dependent On Lamps Used (±5%)

Input Voltage

220-240V~50/60Hz

Dimmable

Yes - Dimmable Lamps Required

IP Rating

IP67

Warranty

2yrs

UKCA/CE

Yes

Shade Colour

Clear

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Included

Yes

Pieces Included

1

Installation

Requires Installation By Qualified Electrician

Product Care

(1) Wipe clean with a dry cloth, do not use any cleaning detergents, do not use rough or coarse material to clean.
