beetlejuice-strange-and-unusual-ceramic-coaster-white
Beetlejuice Strange and Unusual Ceramic Coaster - White

Description

This round ceramic coaster carries a striking Beetlejuice design printed in black on a white ground. At its centre stands a silhouetted figure raising a camera. An arch of lettering frames the figure and reads "I myself am strange and unusual", with the last three words set boldly beneath. Small snakes and bugs are scattered across the figure's dark clothing, and the whole scene sits against crisp vertical stripes that run edge to edge. It measures 10.5cm across and 1cm deep, so a mug, a tumbler or a glass sits on it comfortably.

We think it suits anywhere a drink is set down and a little gothic humour is welcome: a coffee table, a desk beside the keyboard, a bedside table or a side table by a reading chair. The black and white stripes sit happily with monochrome and grey schemes, and they bring a playful graphic note to a plain wooden or glass surface. On a home office desk it gives the morning coffee somewhere to land, and on a shelf of film favourites it reads almost like a small piece of art. Because the design covers the whole face, it looks just as good propped upright against a few books as it does under a cup.

The coaster is made from ceramic, with a flat round face and a depth of 1cm, so it sits flat on a table without fuss. To keep the print looking crisp, wipe it over with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away rather than leaving it to soak. Ceramic can chip if dropped onto a hard floor, so it is worth setting it down gently. As a gift it is small enough to wrap neatly and slip in beside a card. It also pairs well with a plain black mug or a striped tea towel for a little themed bundle.

Specification

Material

Ceramic

Colour

White

Diameter

10.5cm

Depth

1cm

Weight

0.093kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Beetlejuice coaster?

It measures 10.5cm across and 1cm deep, a comfortable size for a mug, a tumbler or a glass to sit on.

What is the coaster made of?

The coaster is made from ceramic, with the black and white design printed across its round white face.

What words are printed on the coaster?

The lettering reads "I myself am strange and unusual".
