It is square, 7.5cm along each side and 1.5cm deep, with a raised scalloped rim in soft off-white that runs all the way round. Inside, a pink and white gingham check fills the base, edged with a fine lilac blue line. At its centre sits a wavy off-white panel printed with the words BEE HAPPY and a smiling yellow and black bee with pale blue wings.

At 7.5cm square it suits a bedside table, a dressing table or a desk, where it keeps the small things that otherwise go missing in one place: rings, studs, a hair tie, a spare button. Its size makes it an easy little thank you gift, and we think it makes a lovely present for a teacher at the end of term, wrapped with a card. It is also a sweet Mother's Day gift, a small, happy reminder by her mirror that someone was thinking of her.

The dish is made from stoneware, and the gingham, the panel and the bee are a decal design applied to the surface. The raised rim keeps small pieces from sliding off, and the flat base sits steady on a shelf or tabletop. To keep it looking its best, wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away, treating the printed design gently. For a gift, we like to set a pair of earrings or a little ring inside before wrapping it, so the dish becomes part of the present.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

Off white & multi- coloured

Finish

Decal

Size

7.5 x 7.5cm

Depth

1.5cm

Weight

0.072kg

Occasion

Mother's Day, Thank You

Frequently Asked

How big is this trinket dish?

It is square, 7.5cm along each side and 1.5cm deep.
