beach-huts-gingham-polyester-cushion-multi
Beach Huts Gingham Polyester Cushion - Multi

Description

This is an outdoor cushion built around a hand-painted British seaside scene: a row of beach huts in soft ice-cream shades, a lighthouse, a sailing boat, bunting strung between the roofs and a donkey waiting on the sand. It is made from 100% polyester, face and reverse, and comes in two sizes, a 30 x 50cm rectangle and a 45 x 45cm square, so you can pick the shape that suits your seating. Polyester is the reason this one earns its place outside: it sheds water rather than soaking it up, and the fabric here is finished as a water-resistant cloth made for the garden.

It is a reversible cushion, and the two faces are genuinely different. One side carries the seaside scene; the other is a blue and white gingham check, so you get two looks from a single cushion and can turn it to match the day. It sits well on a wooden deck chair, a garden bench or an outdoor sofa, and the check side alone works as a plain, calm backdrop when the picture side feels like too much. The palette is gentle rather than loud, which makes it easy to live with alongside natural timber and stripe.

The cushion is finished with an oxford border, the flat fabric frame you can see running around the edge of both faces, which gives the panel a defined outline. The cloth is printed rather than woven, so the colours sit on the surface of a smooth polyester face. Because it is water-resistant it is happy to stay out through a shower, though bringing it in over winter will keep it looking its best. The square 45 x 45cm size is the natural partner if you want a matching pair on a two-seater.

Specification

Material

100% polyester, face and reverse

Design

Printed hand-painted beach huts scene, gingham check reverse, reversible

Construction

Water-resistant fabric, oxford border, made for outdoor use

Size

30 x 50cm and 45 x 45cm

Colour

Multi

Frequently Asked

Can this cushion stay outside?

Yes, it is made from a water-resistant polyester fabric intended for outdoor use, so it will cope with a passing shower on the patio or in the garden.

Is the cushion the same on both sides?

No, it is reversible with two different faces.
