baymont-3-light-pendant-light-frosted-diffuser-polished-chrome
Baymont 3 Light Diffuser Pendant 40cm - Polished Chrome

Description

Three E27 lamps sit inside a single wide drum shade, wrapped in silver leaf over a white laminate lining, and the light they give is softened by a frosted acrylic diffuser across the base. The shade measures 40cm across, broad enough to read as a proper fitting above a table without crowding the room around it. Chrome shows in the polished suspension and the ceiling plate, and the drop can be set short or long to suit the ceiling it hangs from. The shape is calm rather than busy, and the diffuser gives it a soft, even face when lit.

We would hang this over a dining table or a kitchen island, where the diffuser keeps glare off plates and glassware and the lamps together cover the whole surface. It also works well above a wide landing or at the head of a stairwell, given how far the drop extends. With suitable dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer, the level can be taken down for evenings, and each holder accepts up to 20W, which is generous once you are working in LED. It needs an earthed supply, and it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or covered porches.

The metalwork is finished in polished chrome, the shade in silver leaf with a white laminate inner face, and the diffuser panel is acrylic. Dust the chrome with a dry cloth and lift any marks with a barely damp one, working only when the power is off and the lamps have gone cold; keep polishes and sprays off the acrylic, which marks more readily than metal. It carries a one year warranty. The Baymont range goes further than this pendant, and we also stock flush and semi-flush fittings and long linear bars in antique brass, satin nickel and satin black alongside the chrome. Lamps are not included.

Specification

Colour

Polished Chrome

Second Colour

Silver Foil

Weight

1.70KG

Diameter

400mm

Minimum Drop

390mm

Maximum Drop

3310mm

Body Height

355mm

Energy Class

A++ to D

Max Energy Class

A++

Min Energy Class

D

Lamp

3 x E27 20W max (lamps not included)

Lamp Cap

E27

Recommended Lamp

LED (GLS A60)

Light Distribution

Ambient

Protection Class

Class 1 - Earth Connection Required

Total Power Consumption

Dependent On Lamps Used (±5%)

Input Voltage

100-240V~50/60Hz

Dimmable

Yes - Suitable Lamps & Dimmer Required

Dimmer Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Warranty

1yr

UKCA/CE

Yes

Shade Colour

Silver Leaf/White Laminate

Cup Dimensions

D:120mm, H:25mm

Shade Included

Yes

Number of Shades

1

Pieces Included

1

Unassembled

Yes-Shades To Be Attached

Installation

Requires Installation By Qualified Electrician

Sloped Ceiling Compatible

Yes

Sloped Ceiling Adapter Required

No

Product Care

(1) Wipe clean with a dry cloth, do not use any cleaning detergents, do not use rough or coarse material to clean.
