A white moulded lampholder with a threaded skirt and a plain ribbed shoulder, hung from a natural jute-coloured braided flex that runs straight into the top of it. There is no shade at all, so the lamp fitted below is the whole of what is seen, and the holder is sized to look deliberate rather than temporary. The moulding is a flat even white with a slight sheen to the plastic, and the thread is left on show as part of the look. The flex is the warmest element, a soft undyed brown against the white. It is meant to hang on its own.
