The knop is held by a slim polished chrome cone, above which a twisted grey and white fabric flex runs up. The glass is warm white and thick enough to hide the lamp, so the ribs show only as shading. The bottom of the ball is left open and unrimmed. The proportions are round and full, and the shade is generous in size. Hang it so the bottom of the shade sits about 80cm above the surface, a little higher if people walk beneath it rather than sit under it.
