baba-recycled-glass-lamp-base-green-small-tall
Baba Small Tall Recycled Glass Lamp Base - Green

Description

The small tall Baba in green is the teardrop at its narrowest, 38.5cm high and 17cm across at the widest, drawing in to a neck at the top. The glass is a deep olive green, darkest low down where the wall thickens and clearing towards the shoulder, and the hammered surface runs over the whole of it. A chrome collar caps the neck and carries a black lampholder with a shade ring, and the brown flex runs up inside the glass in full view.

This is a base only: no shade and no bulb. At 17cm across it is the narrowest base in the range, which is what makes it the one for a crowded bedside table or for a pair either side of a bed where two wide bases would meet in the middle. Lit, the bulb warms the green through to an olive gold. It takes an E27 bulb, the cord runs 2.5m, the plug is UK and EU, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The glass is recycled, blown by hand into a mould and then hammered while still molten, so the dents and the depth of the green differ from one base to the next. The collar and stem are chrome. The Baba range runs to eleven lamp bases in clear, green and burnt amber, in tall and wide shapes and in two sizes. Neither a shade nor a bulb is included.

Specification

Height

38.5cm

Diameter

17cm

Material

Glass

Colour

Green

Recommended bulb

E27

Cord length

2.5m

Plug type

UK & EU

IP Rating

IP20

Weight

2.27kg

Frequently Asked

Does it come with a shade?

No. It is the base only, with a black lampholder and a shade ring on top.
