avengers-i-am-groot-cassette-tape-money-box-green-and-yellow
Avengers I Am Groot Cassette Tape Money Box - Green & Yellow

Description

This money box takes the shape of a retro cassette tape, made in resin and painted green, with a yellow label across the front that reads "I am Groot" in chunky dark lettering. Beneath the words sit two pale reels and a striped band, just as on a real cassette, while slender yellow vines with small green leaves curl out of the reels and wind their way across the front, around the sides and over the back, as if Groot had started growing right through it. Moulded screw heads at each corner finish the look. It stands 9cm tall, 14cm wide and 5.5cm deep, so it fits a crowded desk or a narrow shelf with ease.

A coin slot runs along the top, so loose change goes straight in at the end of the day instead of gathering in pockets and bowls. We like it on a desk beside the computer, on a bookshelf among favourite films and comics, or on a chest of drawers in a bedroom, where it doubles as a cheerful ornament. The cassette styling has a nostalgic, mixtape feel, and the little sapling vines bring the character in without a full figure, so it looks just as at home in a grown-up study as it does in a games room.

The vines and leaves are raised in relief, so the pattern has real texture under your fingers, and the box sits level on small feet at the base. To keep the paintwork looking fresh, dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from water. Drop a few coins inside before wrapping it and it makes a fun, easy gift that keeps on giving every time someone empties a pocket.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Green & Yellow

Height

9cm

Width

14cm

Depth

5.5cm

Weight

0.251kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Groot cassette money box?

It stands 9cm tall, 14cm wide and 5.5cm deep.
