Rather than a flat front, this sideboard has a gently rounded body fitted with fluted tambour sliding doors, their vertical ridges catching light as they run left and right. It rests on four round tapered legs, which lift the whole thing off the floor and keep the profile light despite its 160cm width. At 67.1cm high and 50cm deep, it holds a generous footprint while staying low enough for the top to stay useful. We think the tambour doors do a lot of quiet work here, softening the lines and giving the front a rhythm that a plain panel never could.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eBehind those doors there is room to store what needs putting away, with a max load of 15kg per shelf when weight is spread evenly. The top will take up to 50kg on the same even basis, so it happily holds a table lamp base, a stack of books or a run of ceramics.
