arenales-glass-pendant-light-brushed-brass
Arenales Glass Pendant Light - Brushed Brass

Description

The Arenales is a glass pendant light that pairs a white globe of matt opal glass with a flat disc of brushed brass, set just above the glass like the brim of a hat. The body is steel in a brushed brass finish, hung on a black cord from a matching round ceiling canopy. It measures 18cm in diameter and 150cm in overall height. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 40W, which is not included, and carries an IP20 rating, so it is made for dry rooms indoors, away from steam and splashing water.

A single pendant like this suits the places where you want a soft, gathered glow: over a dining table, beside the bed in place of a lamp, or above a kitchen island. Hung in a pair or a row, the round globes repeat neatly along a counter. The opal glass diffuses the bulb, so you see a gentle, even light rather than a bright point, and the brass disc picks up a warm sheen from the glowing glass. At 18cm across it is compact enough for a hallway or a small landing, where a larger shade would crowd the space.

Look closely at the disc and you will see fine circular brushing in the brass, a texture that gives a soft, warm sheen rather than a mirror shine, while the white glass has a matt surface with no gloss. There is no switch on the light itself: it runs from your wall switch. Because it is wired in to the mains at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The packed weight is 1.855KG. Before fitting day, have an E27 bulb of no more than 40W ready, since none comes in the box.

Specification

Overall Height

150cm

Diameter

18cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Brushed brass

Shade Material

Matte-opal glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

1.855KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I hang the Arenales in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry indoor rooms only, so we suggest a dining room, bedroom, hallway or living room instead.

Which bulb does the Arenales take?

It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 40W.
