arched-confirmation-framed-wooden-plaque-with-cross-white
Arched Confirmation Framed Wooden Plaque with Cross - White

Description

This arched wooden plaque marks a confirmation with a raised cross set in a deep white frame. The cross is a soft grey, with the word Confirmation written across it in gold script and a small white dove carrying a green sprig beneath. Under the cross, a little silver heart sits between two fine gold lines, and under that a short verse is printed in gold capitals: may this cross bring fond memories of your confirmation day, and always help inspire you as you follow and grow in the grace of our Lord. The face measures 17.9cm by 13.9cm and the frame is 3.1cm deep, a modest size that sits comfortably in a small space.

It is made to be kept long after the day itself. Set it on a bedroom shelf, a bedside table or a mantelpiece, where the deep frame lets it stand on its own, or hang it on a wall from the hanger fixed to the back. The white frame and soft grey cross sit quietly beside most colour schemes, from plain painted walls to warm wood furniture. As a confirmation gift it carries its own message, so the words are already said for you, and it suits a church celebration, a family gathering afterwards or a quiet moment at home.

The plaque is made of wood, with a white frame around a recessed panel, and a backing board closes the back. Care is simple: dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth, and if it needs more, wipe the frame gently with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away, keeping water off the printed verse. We think it makes a thoughtful keepsake to give on the day, wrapped in tissue with a card, and a lovely piece to keep on display as a reminder of a milestone in faith.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

White

Size

17.9 x 13.9cm

Depth

3.1cm

Weight

0.272kg

Occasion

Confirmation

Frequently Asked

How big is the confirmation plaque?

Its face measures 17.9cm by 13.9cm and the frame is 3.1cm deep, so it fits easily on a shelf, a bedside table or a mantelpiece.

Can the plaque stand on a shelf or hang on a wall?

It can do either.
