A small frosted glass bell, deep and rounded with a plain rim, hung under a short polished chrome cone from a clear wire. The glass is softly frosted rather than fully opal, so the lamp shows through as a brighter patch at the middle while the rest glows evenly. The chrome cone flares out where the wire enters and covers the top of the glass completely. The wire is clear and fine, so the shade reads as floating. The whole fitting is small enough to hang in a run over a worktop.
