arangona-glass-linear-pendant-light-black
Arangona Glass Linear Pendant Light - Black

Description

The Arangona is a glass linear pendant light that brings three globe shades together in one fitting. Each globe is grey matt glass, a soft smoked tone that looks almost frosted, and each hangs on a slim black cord from a long black steel ceiling bar. The fitting measures 125.5cm long, 24.5cm wide and 150cm high overall. It takes three E27 bulbs of up to 40W each, and the bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour of light you prefer. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We see it hanging above a dining table or a kitchen island, where its length lets the three globes spread light along the whole surface rather than pooling it in one spot. The black bar and the smoky grey glass sit comfortably in a monochrome scheme, beside warm wood, concrete or pale painted walls. Because the glass is matt, it diffuses the light, so each bulb shows as a soft glow through its globe rather than a bright point, which makes for relaxed evenings around the table. As an IP20 fitting it is meant for dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms, never a bathroom or a garden.

There is no switch on the fitting itself, because it is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and, as a wired-in ceiling light, is installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions are available as a download, and the packed weight is 6.7kg, which is useful to know when you plan the job. Glass wipes clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and a light dusting keeps the black cords and bar looking crisp. Choose E27 bulbs of 40W or less for each of the three holders and the fitting is ready to hang.

Specification

Length

125.5cm

Width

24.5cm

Overall Height

150cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Colour

Grey matt

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 3 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

6.7kg

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Arangona pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms such as a dining room, kitchen or living room, never a bathroom or a garden.

Are bulbs included with this pendant?

No, the bulbs are not included.
