apache-helicopter-model-ornament-on-stand-31cm-silver-and-black
Apache Helicopter Model Ornament on Stand 31cm - Silver & Black

Description

This Apache helicopter model ornament captures a military helicopter in mid flight, raised on its own curved stand and ready for a shelf or desk. The body has a polished silver finish that catches the light, with the cockpit windows, engine housings and long tail boom all shaped into the piece, while the four-blade main rotor, the tail rotor and the pods beneath its stub wings are finished in black for a crisp two-tone look. It stands 25.5cm tall and 31cm deep, so it has real presence without crowding a bookcase or sideboard. The helicopter rests on a single swept arm rising from a flat rectangular base, which holds it at a slight lift as though it were hovering just above the ground.

We think it suits a study, a home office or a sitting room shelf, anywhere it can be seen from more than one side. The outline reads clearly from across the room, and the detail rewards a closer look: the panel lines, the rotor hub and the small screw heads along the fuselage are all there to find. It sits comfortably on a mantelpiece beside books or framed pictures, and on a desk it gives a working space a little character. It is an ornament to admire rather than handle, so a spot away from busy hands keeps it looking its best.

The base is broad and flat, so the model stands freely on any level surface and needs no wall or fixings. The black rotor blades give the silver body a sharp outline that looks equally at home against dark wood or pale painted shelves. To keep it bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth, working gently between the blades, and wipe the base with a slightly damp cloth when needed, drying it straight away. As a gift, it is a handsome choice for a study shelf or an office desk.

Specification

Colour

Silver & Black

Height

25.5cm

Depth

31cm

Weight

1.333kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Apache helicopter model?

It stands 25.5cm tall and measures 31cm deep, a comfortable size for a bookshelf, mantelpiece or desk without taking over the space.

What colour is the helicopter ornament?

The body and stand have a polished silver finish, while the main rotor, tail rotor and wing pods are black, giving a crisp two-tone look.

How does the model stand?

The helicopter is held on a curved arm that rises from a flat rectangular base, so it stands freely on any level surface with no wall fixings needed.

Is the helicopter model a toy?

No, it is an ornament made to be admired on a shelf or desk, so we suggest placing it somewhere away from busy hands.

How should I look after it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, working gently around the rotor blades, and wipe the base with a slightly damp cloth, drying it straight afterwards.

Would it make a good gift?

Yes, it makes a handsome gift for a study or home office, and its silver and black finish sits well on most shelves and desks.
