The jute cord is wrapped over the two long rails and laid in tight rows across the bench, so the rails disappear under it and the seat reads as one solid band of cord between the four leg tops.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe seat stands 45cm off the floor and the bench is 36cm from front to back, so it holds close against a wall. It stands against a wall and takes clothes laid over one end. It is made for the foot of a bed, or for a hallway where it gives somewhere to sit to put shoes on.
