amethyst-gemstone-dome-tree-ornament-purple-and-clear
Amethyst Gemstone Dome Tree Ornament - Purple & Clear

Description

This amethyst gemstone tree ornament places a little tree of purple stones under a clear dome, a small and quiet piece for a shelf or desk. Its twisted gold branches each end in a chip of purple amethyst, and the tree rises from a bed of smaller matching stones that covers the top of a round brown base. The clear arched dome closes over the whole tree, so every stone can be seen from any side, and the shiny finish catches the light. It stands 11.8cm tall, 7.5cm wide and 7.4cm deep, small enough to sit in the narrowest gap on a shelf.

At that height it suits the places where space is tight: a bedside table, a desk, a bookshelf or a windowsill, where daylight brings out the purple in the stones. The dome gives the little tree a finished look, so it sits as happily among books and plants as it does on its own. Purple and gold suit a calm bedroom or a reading corner, and the clear dome lets the colours of the room show through around the branches. As a gift it needs no explaining: a small tree of amethyst is a thoughtful thing to give, and it is easy to tuck into a gift bag.

The tree rises from its bed of stones on the base and the dome sits over it, so the piece stands steady on any flat surface and needs no wall, hook or stand. The stones range from pale lilac to deeper purple, with the odd smoky chip among them, which gives the tree a varied look. To keep it bright, dust the base and the outside of the dome with a soft dry cloth, and wipe away fingerprints with a damp cloth. We like it where it catches the morning light, or wrapped as a small gift for someone with an empty windowsill.

Specification

Colour

Purple & Clear

Finish

Shiny

Height

11.8cm

Width

7.5cm

Depth

7.4cm

Weight

0.236kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the amethyst tree ornament?

It stands 11.8cm tall, 7.5cm wide and 7.4cm deep, so it fits easily on a narrow shelf, a bedside table or a desk.

What colours is it?

The stones are purple amethyst set on gold branches, under a clear dome, and the whole piece sits on a round brown base with a shiny finish.

Does it need to be hung or fixed to anything?

No, it is freestanding.
