The seat is a single thick plank, dished across its width and lifted at both ends. Four square legs splay outwards from under it, braced by a rail along each long side and a lower rail running between them. The wood is left natural, so the grain, the knots and the shifts from pale straw to a warmer brown run straight through the piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 76cm to the seat this is made for a bar or a high kitchen island rather than for a dining table.
