The body is etched by hand all over, so the surface breaks the light into a fine mottling instead of reflecting it flat, and the aged antique finish reads gold in places and much darker in others. A small turned knob sits at the centre of the lid.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe marble lid covers the ice between rounds, and the swing handle carries the whole thing from the kitchen to a table or a drinks trolley in one hand. At 19cm high and 15.25cm across it takes little room on a tray or at the end of a sideboard.
