They stack into a metal caddy with a squared opening cut out of the front, so the top one slides out without lifting the rest.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 10cm across a coaster takes the foot of a wine glass, a coupe or a tumbler with room around it. The caddy is 8cm tall and stands on short feet, small enough to leave out on a table or a bar top rather than put away in a drawer, with two coasters out and the rest still stacked.
