alvira-paper-napkins-pack-of-20-blue
Alvira Paper Napkins Pack of 20 - Blue

Description

Alvira is a paper napkin printed with a blue floral pattern that is laid out like a tile: a central flower with leaves radiating from it, four larger blooms towards the corners, and trailing vines and small sprigs filling the space in between. It comes in a pack of 20, and each napkin opens out to a square 33cm long and 33cm wide, a comfortable size for lunch, supper or tea. Folded into quarters, the motif still shows clearly, so the napkin looks finished on the plate before anyone opens it.

They are made for use with food, so they can sit directly under a slice of cake, wrap a sandwich for a picnic or line a bread basket. We like them on the kitchen table for an ordinary weekday meal, and they earn their place at bigger gatherings too: a birthday lunch, a christening tea, a garden supper or a Sunday roast with family. Twenty to a pack means plenty for a full table, with spares for second helpings and sticky fingers. The blue pattern sits happily alongside blue china, plain stoneware, linen tablecloths and wooden boards, and it brings a little pattern to a table that is otherwise quite plain.

Each napkin is made of paper, with the pattern printed across the face and a fine dotted embossing around the edges that gives the surface a raised texture. Paper napkins are made to be used once, so there is no washing or ironing afterwards, which is half the appeal after a long lunch. Keep the pack somewhere dry until you need it, as paper softens and marks when damp. As a styling idea, fold each napkin into quarters with the pattern facing up and lay it on a side plate under the knife and fork, or tuck it beside the plate so the corner blooms point towards the guest.

Specification

Width

33cm

Length

33cm

Sold as

Pack of 20

Material

Paper

Colour

Blue

Weight

0.11KG

Frequently Asked

How big is each napkin?

Each napkin opens out to a square 33cm long and 33cm wide, a comfortable size for lunch, supper or afternoon tea, and it folds neatly into quarters for the plate.

How many napkins come in the pack?

The pack holds 20 paper napkins, which is enough to lay a full table with a few spares for second helpings.
