addie-3-light-g9-flush-ceiling-light-50cm-satin-black
Addie 3 Light Opal G9 Flush Ceiling Light 50cm - Satin Black

Description

Three opal glass shades sit close against a satin black backplate, giving a broad spread of soft light without dropping into the room. The glass is opal throughout, so the G9 capsules behind it read as a gentle glow rather than bright points, and the black metalwork keeps the outline crisp against a pale ceiling. It sits shallow, nearer a disc than a dome, which keeps head height clear in rooms that cannot take a drop. At 50cm across, it covers a good deal of ground for a fitting that stays tight overhead.

We reach for this one in hallways, landings and bedrooms where a pendant would hang in the way, and it works equally well over a kitchen table in a room with a lower ceiling. The spread of shades lets you light a decent stretch of corridor from a single point. If you would rather have an even wash of light than a spotlit look, this is the kind of fitting to pick. It will dim, provided the G9 capsules you choose are dimmable ones themselves, and we stock LED capsules to suit.

The shades are glass and the frame metal in a satin black finish, a low sheen that hides marks better than gloss. Dust the glass with a dry cloth and use nothing abrasive on the black, as scouring will dull the sheen; wait until the capsules are cold before handling them. It carries a one year warranty. The same design comes in satin nickel and antique brass, and there is a five light version if you need more reach, along with matching table and wall lights in the range. Lamps are not included.

Specification

Colour

Satin Black

Weight

0.94KG

Diameter

500mm

Height

145mm

Materials Used

Iron, Glass

Energy Class

A++ to A

Max Energy Class

A++

Min Energy Class

A

Lamp

3 x G9 10W max (lamps not included)

Lamp Cap

G9

Recommended Lamp

LED (Capsule G9)

Light Distribution

Ambient

Protection Class

Class 1 - Earth Connection Required

Total Power Consumption

Dependent On Lamps Used (±5%)

Input Voltage

220-240V~ 50/60Hz

Dimmable

Yes - Dimmable Lamps Required

Dimmer Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Warranty

1yr

UKCA/CE

Yes

Shade Colour

Opal

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Shape

Oval

Shade Included

Yes

Pieces Included

1

Installation

Requires Installation By Qualified Electrician

Sloped Ceiling Compatible

Yes

Sloped Ceiling Adapter Required

No

Product Care

(1) Wipe clean with a dry cloth, do not use any cleaning detergents, do not use rough or coarse material to clean.
