The top is chisel carved into fine parallel ridges, worked in bands that change direction across the surface. A second half moon, carved and banded the same way, sits low between the legs as a shelf. Four slim square iron uprights run straight from the floor to the top.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe back edge is straight, so the table stands flat against a wall, and at 40cm deep it takes a hallway without narrowing it.
