The dome is a smooth curve, broader than it is deep, and the inside is lined in warm cream, showing as a bright disc from below. A white braided flex loops over the top of the shade and back to the plate. The plate is a plain round disc with a single visible screw. The wood pin is the one warm material. It measures 18cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA wall light earns its place by leaving the surface below it clear. Beside a bed where there is no room for a table lamp, over a work bench, up a stairwell or either side of a mirror, it gives directed light without taking up any space.
